Do you need counter surveillance?

So, hopefully now you know a little more about surveillance and perhaps you have begun to understand how easy and accessible most methods are to conduct.  The real question at hand is do you need to initiate a counter measure program?
A counter measure program may be just a bit more than what you had in mind, but believe me, if someone is looking at you then you are certainly on the receiving end of their program.    What you must do is ask yourself, what about me or those close to me would cause someone to pry into the details of my life. For some of you the answer might be a bit more obvious. Perhaps you are in the middle of litigation, a divorce, custody battle or a lawsuit where character and behavior could be questioned.
The way you choose to make a living is something that could cause surveillance to be initiated. Are you making your money illegally?  Do you make a lot of money, legally or not? Are you an attorney, are you in law enforcement, do you own your own business and make deposits of daily receipts?  Are you a woman and live alone? Are you a woman who lives with female roommates? Have you recently had a falling out with a neighbor or a business acquaintance? Have you recently broken off a romantic relationship?
How many possibilities are there where someone might be motivated to acquire information about your personal life and then use it against you somehow? The answer is as many possibilities as there are people around you.
