The Do It Yourself Detective
Being Successful

Oh my goodness, I almost forgot, this is the last electronic surveillance device, I promise. Well, the last one we are going to cover.  The GPS Tracker. These devices have come into their own ahd have done an outstanding job for surveillance. They are expensive to purchase, several hundred dollars, but they can be rented. There are many companies out there that rent them as well as private investigators who will rent them as well.
So lets say you find a GPS Tracker and actually get it. You read the instructions which will come with it. This means that you have downloaded the software to your computer, either PC or your laptop. You have also read the best place to attach a tracker on a vehicle will be.  A helpful hint here is they usually are placed inside the rear bumper, attached to the gas tank or sometimes put in the rear window of your target vehicle.
So you have the tracker, you have downloaded the software and you have hidden the device successfully on the target vehicle when it was safe to do so. Now at this point I should mention that you want your tracker to have real time tracking so you can actually see where the target is going, when it is happening.
With a tracker you actually don't need to leave your home to see where your target is going and stopping and for how long they are staying in one spot. The address where they stop and park will also show up on your monitor.
Now a tracker will do all of that for you but what it won't do is let you know what your target is doing at the address where they have stopped or with whom they are doing it. It won't let you know if they are alone in the vehicle or someone is with them.  So, my recommendation is that you download your tracker software to a laptop and hit the road behind your target. The good news here is that you can tail your target from several miles away with no change of being burned whatsoever. Getting caught in a traffic jam is not a problem either, it doesn't get much better than that.
So you tail your target vehicle, you find a good surveillance spot and you watch what is going on and with whom. You've got your black curtain to put up, your binoculars to watch with, a camera to take pictures with and a bit of helpful information to pull it all together. Good Job! You can do it!
So there you have it. We are not turning you into a PI, a spy, or a full blown operative, but hopefully we have helped you a little to deal with your problem. The possibility also exists that you are simply reading this because you are curious. Well, I hope this helps you too. As I have stated all along, you might need the help of a licensed professional. This writing will give you an idea of what they have to do as well. It isn't easy, even if it sounds like it is. That is why investigators charge what they do. Also, they might have to testify in court. Let's not forget that part.
At any rate, I hope you have found this website helpful. As always, we certainly wish you GOOD LUCK!
