Following Your Target Vehicle

It's time for the subject of your surveillance to get off work. Before long you see them exit their building and your subject is not alone and exits with several friends and they are all of the same sex. Hopefully there's no affair going on there. They walk to their respective vehicles, get in and all head the same direction.

You slowly begin to follow in your surveillance vehicle, keeping several vehicles behind them. As they change lanes you casually do the same, always keeping a fair distance back from the target vehicle.

Not much further you observe the target vehicle pull into a parking lot of a fairly nice restaurant where they park. You continue past the parking lot, go around the block and find a close enough spot to be able to observe the entrance of the restaurant. Now is the perfect time to have a friend riding along to help you. If you do indeed have help, they could go inside the restaurant, observe what the target is doing and with whom and even talk to them accidentally of course. They could even possibly snap a photo with a cell phone if possible of the group or perhaps of a party that is not supposed to be there.

If you are by yourself, your position being close enough to observe who comes out of the restaurant with the target and what they do when they are together.

Couples who are not supposed to be couples can be fairly careful, but sometimes slip and grasp a hand or casually kiss or sometimes throw caution to the wind and hug and kiss passionately without a care. Either way your surveillance will eventually pay off so be patient as well as persistant. This surveillance could last for an hour or three or four. This is where the role of duct tape can come into play as was mentioned earlier in this writing. Now is a good time to put up the black curtain that you put together as part of your surveillance kit bag.

Take the duct tape and begin to put the curtain up to cover all of your windows where you could be seen. How exactly you do this is up to you, but the two side windows as well as behind you should be covered. Also important to mention, you need to keep your exit door available for opening, just in case you have to exit your vehilce in a hurry, you don't need your curtain to extend from front to back windows without a split. The cover behind you could simply be a curtain behind the front seat, not all the

way in the rear window. The reason you use duct tape is because it sticks well and can be pulled down quickly if your target goes on the move quickly. Believe it or not, this curtain simply looks like a dark car interior, with no one inside. This has worked every time for years for us. Actually all of our vehicles have velcro permanently attached around the interior so we can simply velcro our curtain in place. So you sit and you wait and you watch. Where ever your target goes you follow and where they park you seek a safe distance to park and continue to observe what they do, where they go and with whom. If they go inside a store or a movie theatre or someones residence or a motel, you do the same thing. You observe how they go inside, how they come outside and you will have a good idea of what is going on.

Now it should be noted here that sometimes you might not see them doing anything suspicious, it does happen. Not very often, but once in a while they are behaving themselves.
