One Last Counter Measure
One last counter measure that works quite well involves another vehicle, a friend and a little bit of coordination.
The plan here is to know where your surveillant is and when you pull out in your vehicle and your tail falls in behind you, at a pre-planned location, your friend pulls behind the surveillant and begins to tail them, also referred to as pulling drag. You in the first vehicle make a few turns and as you do so your drag moves up on the tail following you. Not long after the drag moves in close, your tail becomes aware that he has picked up a tail and is now concentrating on his own tail. Now you can pull in some place and he is no longer a problem, instead he now has a problem of his own.
The last mobile surveillance counter measure that works for both a stalker or a surveillant is for you to pull into a police station and either sit there and honk your horn or go inside. This measure always works unless your tail happens to be associated with law enforcement.
All of these measures contain an element of risk of having an accident or causing one and should be attempted only with great caution. You must weigh the risks and benefits and if the risks are more than you want to deal with you always have the option of contacting an expert in dealing with counter measures.
Having discussed stationary surveillance and mobile surveillance we are now prepared to discuss the high tech methods, where by electronic devices may be employed against you.
Let us assume that you do not have in your possession any of the sophisticated electronic counter surveillance equipment which does exist, which does work, but normally costs as much as a small foreign car.
The first step in your do it yourself counter measure is to think of where you are most vulnerable to cameras or listening devices. Where would activity or conversation most likely occur that would be of interest to someone. Only you know what is going on in your life, the other guy has to think logically about where to conduct his surveillance.
Office areas are prime targets for businessmen with secrets, internal theft, drinking or drugs on the job or the office love affair. Domestic investigations can place cameras in houses, bars, clubs or motels and listening devices can be found there as well as vehicles. By the very nature of electronic surveillance devices, they are difficult for the average citizen. These devices are small, quiet and easily disguised or hidden.
